LRC's Range Rules:


  1. Treat every firearm as if it was loaded.

  2. Always keep the firearm's muzzle pointed in a safe direction.

  3. Always keep the firearm's action open.

  4. Know your firearm and its ammunition.

  5. Be sure of your backstop behind your target.

  6. Be sure of your target.

  7. ALCOHOL IS NOT ALLOWED ON LRC'S PREMISES !

  8. MARIJUANA AND ILLEGAL NARCOTICS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON LRC'S PREMISES !

  9. Follow all range officer's commands.

Often new or novice high power rifle shooters ask,

"What equipment do I need for a high power rifle match?"

Note that all the shooting equipment is not required at first; with time, the new or novice shooter will acquire what he/she will need to shoot well at high power rifle matches.
